LINK FAILURE PROPAGATION(LFP)
Profitap 10GBASE-T Network TAP的網路埠LFP機制，能傳遞所對接的上行或下行網路設備埠的port down狀態，給另一個埠知悉，並自動將其調整為Port down狀態，因此，能讓客戶的網路知道"此路不通"，而啟動備援路由機制，此時Network TAP仍保持能處理auto-negotiation的狀態，等待上下行設備port up。LFP 確保減少離線時間，並對於HA架構的網路環境尤其重要。Power Failure 斷電硬體Bypass
當TAP斷電時，網路埠A與B會透過內部迴路實體連接，此時網路埠A與B可以視為同一條網路線，讓對接的網路設備直接連線，而不影響網路傳輸。Fast Failover (1G/10G)
當電力中斷，網路A與B埠實體連接，對接的網路設備需要進行重新協議連結(speed renegotiation)，隨網路設備不同的設定不同，這個過程可能會使用高達五秒鐘，這樣長的時間有可能導致網路路由的改變，Fast Failover的特性能讓對接的網路設備，恢復連結的時間降至30-300 ms。
